Founder & Clinical Director
You’ve likely been the one others rely on, steady, capable, and holding a lot together. From the outside, you appear high-functioning. But internally, you may feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or disconnected from yourself in ways that are harder to name.
Imani specializes in working with high-functioning adults who are ready to move beyond simply managing life and begin understanding the deeper patterns shaping their emotional experiences, relationships, and sense of self.
As a trauma-informed clinician, her work focuses on helping clients explore how developmental and relational trauma may still be showing up in the present, even in subtle ways, and guiding them toward healing that feels more grounded, intentional, and lasting.
As the founder of Exalt The Light, Imani leads the clinical vision of the practice and offers a more depth-oriented therapeutic experience for individuals who are ready to engage in meaningful, transformative work.
Her work is especially aligned for those who:
If you’re looking for a space that is both supportive and intentional, where your experiences are understood through a trauma-informed lens and your growth is approached with depth and care, you may be a strong fit for this work.

Master’s Level Clinician (Under Supervision)
Shaneka T. Hutchinson brings a warm, grounded, and compassionate presence to her work, creating space for clients to feel supported as they begin to process what they’ve been carrying.
She works with individuals navigating stress, burnout, and emotional overwhelm, especially those in helping roles such as nursing, caregiving, and other service based professions. Through her experience in healthcare, she has seen firsthand how much people hold while continuing to show up for others, often without the same level of support in return.
Her approach is supportive and steady, helping clients slow down, process their experiences, and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels manageable and empowering.
As someone with Caribbean heritage, Shaneka understands the experience of navigating different cultural expectations and identities, and she is passionate about creating a space where clients feel seen, accepted, and confident in who they are.
Shaneka also works with adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and the complexities of everyday stress. She places a strong emphasis on helping clients give language to what they are feeling, deepen self-awareness, and strengthen their inner voice even within environments or circumstances that may not immediately change.
Shaneka earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Master of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University.
Shaneka practices under the clinical supervision of
Imani S. Hines, LPC, NCC, CPCS, ensuring ongoing support and quality care.
